Submission process

Prizes

Winners will receive Megaport service credits (promo codes) in the amounts set forth below, equivalent to $1,000 USD in local currency. The final value will be determined by Megaport based on the exchange rate within our systems at the time of conversion.

The provided promo code can be applied to an Megaport Cloud Router (MCR), an Megaport Virtual Edge (MVE), a Port, or a Virtual Cross Connect (VXC) service. The winners will also receive five (5) Megaport Terraform Provider T-shirts.

*Service Credit Redemption: Megaport will issue a promo code equivalent to the stated dollar value. To apply the credit, simply provide Megaport with the service ID of the eligible service. The stated value will then be applied as a deduction on your subsequent invoices until the full credit amount is exhausted.

Submissions close on 22 April 2026 at 11:59:59 pm AEST.

Evaluation process

All submissions will be evaluated by the Megaport Terraform Provider team based on the following criteria:
Multi-Cloud Integration Extent of multi-cloud usage (Number of CSPs).
Complexity Number of interconnected elements (Ports, MVEs, MCRs, VXCs, Cloud providers, etc.) visible in the architecture diagram.
Creativity How unusual or insightful the use case is (for example, automated disaster recovery failover via Megaport VXC).
Code Quality (Merges Efficiency/Reusability) Syntax clarity, resource definition logic, and security (sanitization) of the provided snippet. Is the code reusable?
Impact & Realism (Merges Realism/Utility) Does this solve a genuine, high-value customer problem or major Terraform user pain point?
Communication Clarity of the Problem Statement, any architectural diagrams, and supporting documentation.


Winners announcement

Megaport will notify the winners directly via email by the middle of May 2026.


Winners’ individual names and their organization’s/company name and logos will be published on the Megaport website to celebrate their achievements.

3 A sanitized diagram (architecture) generated from your Terraform code (using tools like inframap, pluralith, etc).
4 Sanitized snippet of the most interesting resource block(s). Make sure you do not include any access credential or any sensitive information.
