Easing the Transition to Cloud for Enterprise

According to Gartner, many organizations struggle with unstructured and ungoverned cloud adoption. This is as a result of not only "shadow IT" adoption, but also business units moving faster to adopt cloud than central IT is ready to support.

This Gartner research explains how to successfully facilitate this execution of executive leaders' organizations' cloud strategies deploying a cloud center of excellence (CCoE) as a best practice for cloud adoption.

Our learnings and findings from this report:

Cloud Centre of Excellence

A CCoE is an effective strategy across organizations of all sizes, types, and IT operating models.

Cloud competencies should be distributed rather than concentrated across the organization through the implementation of a CCoE.

Responsibilities of the CCoE should be separated from those of engineering and operations.

A CCoE should work collaboratively with cloud computing stakeholders via a Cloud Computing Advisory Council (CCAC).
